Power Truck

June 1st marked the start of a huge milestone for Hampton Lakes Emergency Squad - The first day of our Power Truck coverage!

What does that mean, you ask? During the summer months from 8am - 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we will be staffing an additional ambulance located at the Township Building, near Vincentown Village.

This initiative comes after years of call volume research, planning, and collaboration to determine the best times and positioning of this additional ambulance to best serve the community.

​

The additional unit allows us to respond to multiple emergencies simultaneously while also significantly reducing our response time to the center and North ends of Southampton Township.

​

While this summer's Power Truck is a trial to determine feasibility and collect important information, we hope for a successful operation that can be expanded in the future.
