Ambulance 1783, which was decommissioned in January of 2022 due to an accident, has been remounted and will return to service on it's new 2023 Ford E-450 chassis.
Two members of HLES took part in the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's Child Passenger Safety Technician Course over the past 4 days to ensure we can keep your children safe before an accident happens.
In June of 2022, HLES took delivery of a new addition to the fleet, Ambulance 1784.
1784 was purchased by Southampton Township in the face of an unexpected downsizing of the fleet and nationwide chassis shortage.
June 1st - Sept 30th from 8am - 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, we will be staffing an additional ambulance located at the Township Building, near Vincentown Village.
In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation's communities and honor those who have given their lives in the line of duty.
